Important – API License Agreement
Access to and use of all BEACON Export Services is governed by the Badger Meter API License Agreement. By accessing any BEACON API, you agree to the terms of that Agreement, including restrictions on permitted use, support entitlements based on account type, and conditions under which access may be suspended or terminated. Please review the API License Agreement before proceeding with any integration activity.
The API License Agreement governs all API access and use. Where separate contractual agreement exists, those terms apply and control over the guidance on this page.
APIs Available Without Additional Charge
The following Export Data Services (EDS) APIs, primarily intended for ad-hoc reporting, are documented and available at no additional cost as part of a BEACON subscription. See Export Data Services for more information. Please note that there is limited support available for these services. If your team requires implementation or maintenance support for export services, please refer to Managed Integration Services for options.

Integration Use Restrictions: The APIs listed above are not intended for third-party integrations. In some cases, Badger Meter may prohibit using these services for system-to-system integration. Use of BEACON APIs outside the scope described above may constitute a violation of the API License Agreement and could result in immediate suspension or termination of API access.
Managed Integration Services
Implementation Support is provided only for the following APIs when used as part of an approved Billing Integration Project:

- v2 EDS Read API
Support in this context is limited to project-based integration activities and does not extend to general API development or troubleshooting outside the scope of the project. Should you need assistance with these APIs after conclusion of an integration project, fee-based support are available. Contact your Badger Meter Account Manager for additional details and pricing.
Interval Data and Events Data Extraction
For customers who need to extract BEACON‑configured Events and/or 96‑reads‑per‑day AMI interval data—particularly when near real‑time data delivery to another system is required—Badger Meter strongly recommends Managed Integration Services.
Managed Integration Services are offered as a fee-based service and provides a supported, scalable approach for data extraction and downstream system integration. For additional details and pricing, contact your Badger Meter Account Manager.
