Field Photos Now Visible on Monitor Page Cards
March 23, 2026
Photos taken with BEACON Field are available on the Attachments tab of a service point’s Monitor page card, making it easy to share information with your entire team. Office staff can view field conditions in context, supervisors can verify work documentation remotely, and customer service representatives have visual evidence on hand when handling meter disputes or billing questions. Photo documentation is no longer stored on individual devices — it’s a shared operational asset, right where your team needs it.
See BEACON Field and UI > Monitor > Cards in BEACON Help for more information.
Mute and Acknowledge Event Notifications
February 2, 2026
Event Notifications now provide more control with Mute and Acknowledge actions at the individual event level. From the Events Explore page, you can now Mute an event to stop all notifications and UI visibility for that specific event. In addition, you can Acknowledge an event to mute it on a specific date. These options help reduce noise and allow users to manage events individually without impacting other event activity. See the Events > Explore page of BEACON Help for details.

System Sync Notifications and Progress Tracking
November 11, 2025
We’ve enhanced the System Sync > Data Exchange page to provide utilities with greater visibility into file imports—without changing existing workflows or processing times. You can now track import progress directly in the System Sync Activity List and receive email notifications (up to five users) when an import has fully completed, after BEACON has processed all stages and updated account, location, meter, and endpoint data. Administrators can easily manage notification recipients under Settings, and users can see detailed progress timestamps for each stage. See Data Exchange in BEACON Help for more information.

October 7, 2025
The System Sync > Data Exchange page has a new look and new features designed to help you work faster and find exactly what you need. In addition to its familiar capabilities, like uploading Data Exchange files, troubleshooting past imports, and accessing helpful guides, the page now features Activity List Filters. These intuitive drop-down menus let you refine search results and find specific imports by mode, type, or source, making it easier than ever to track and manage your data. With this update, navigating and troubleshooting your system sync activity is faster, clearer, and more efficient. For more details, see the Data Exchange page in BEACON Help.
