BEACON account invitations are initiated by a BEACON administrator (a BEACON user with Admin user privileges) for your portfolio. Contact your BEACON Admin to request a login invitation. The invitation will include a log in link and temporary password.
NOTE: The invitation expires after 48 hours so it is important to set up your account before the invitation expires. You may need to check your spam/junk folder for the invitation, depending on your organization’s email settings. See URL Whitelisting Guidance for more information.
To accept the invitation and set up your BEACON login credentials:
- Click the here link contained in the invitation email.

- Enter your email address in the Username field, then click Next.

- In the Sign in window, enter the temporary password provided in the login invitation in the Password field. Click Sign in.

- In the Change password window, create a new, strong password meeting the password requirements shown. Click Change password to continue.

- In the Select Utility window, locate the Utility associated with your BEACON invitation, then click Accept Invitation.

Note: If your email address is associated with multiple BEACON portfolios ensure you select the Utility Name which sent the login invitation. - A General Agreement window will appear. Review the information. Scroll to bottom of the window. Click the acceptance checkbox then click Agree.
- A Terms and Conditions window will appear. Review the information. Scroll to bottom of the window. Click the acceptance checkbox then click Agree.
- User account set up is complete.
