Helping Customers Link EyeOnWater Accounts Across Multiple Utilities
Customers can create separate EyeOnWater accounts for different water utilities. For example, if they have accounts with both Your Utility and City Water, they need to create an EyeOnWater account for each utility by following the sign-up process separately.
Key Points to Guide Customers:
- Account Matching via ZIP/Postal Code – EyeOnWater uses the customer’s service area ZIP or postal code to match their account number to a utility. If multiple utilities serve the same ZIP code, they must select the correct utility from the list provided.

- Using the Same Email for Multiple Utilities – Customers can use the same email address as their username for accounts linked to different water utilities.
- Password Flexibility – Customers can set the same or different passwords for each utility’s EyeOnWater account. If they use the same password, they will need to select the specific water company from a list when logging in.
- Resetting Passwords – If a customer forgets their password, they can click Forgot Password on the login page. If they have accounts with multiple utilities, they will receive separate password reset emails for each account.
If a customer encounters issues linking their accounts, verify their ZIP code, utility selection, and email usage, then escalate if needed.
