To provision a manually read meter, follow these steps:
- Create a Data Exchange File
- Create a file in CSV format that includes at least the following column headers:

- Create a file in CSV format that includes at least the following column headers:
- Optional Headers for Additional Data
- For meter swap situations, you can include the following optional headers:
Meter_Install_Start_Read: To record the starting read of the new meter.Meter_Removal_End_Read: To record the final read of the previous meter.
- For manual or mobile reading, you may include these additional headers if desired:
Read_SequenceAlert_CodeHigh_Read_LimitLow_Read_Limit
- For meter swap situations, you can include the following optional headers:
- If Installing an ORION CE Endpoint
- Include the endpoint’s serial number in a column labeled
Endpoint_SN. - Add a column labeled
Endpoint_Typeand enterZ. - Add a column labeled
Endpoint_Install_Dateand provide the date of installation.
- Include the endpoint’s serial number in a column labeled
- If Installing a Mobile-Read Endpoint (e.g., ORION ME)
- Include the endpoint’s serial number in a column labeled
