From the Manage EOW page, users with Admin or Support roles can grant or remove access to EyeOnWater accounts and link additional accounts to a single EyeOnWater dashboard.
Before you begin, ensure that the customer already has a username and email address associated with an EyeOnWater account.
To remove access or link an email address to more accounts, do the following:
-
- Click the Manage EOW page.
- Enter a username or email address in the Select User box, and click Select User. NOTE: You must enter the full email address.
In the example above, a search for vince@example.com returned a single account along with the corresponding:
- Account ID – The unique identifier of the account.
- Account Name – The name that the water account is registered under.
- City – The name of the city where service is provided.
- Sign Up Date – Date the user created the EyeOnWater account.
- Access – Click Remove Access to break the link between the user email address and EyeOnWater. This will remove the EyeOnWater user’s access to the EyeOnWater web portal and the smartphone apps.NOTE: Removing access to an account does not affect corresponding leak alerts. As a result, be sure to locate the meter card for the account that you are removing access to and delete any emails and SMS text numbers associated with that meter’s leak alert.
- Use the drop-down menu to search for other accounts associated with the user.
In the example above, the system automatically found two accounts associated with the name Vince. - Use the drop-down menu to select an account and click Grant Access. After a brief moment, the account will be linked to the user’s EyeOnWater portal and smartphone app dashboards.
Changing Customer Email Addresses that are Linked to EyeOnWater Accounts

If they use EyeOnWater for iOS (requires version 2.13.4) or EyeOnWater for Android (requires version 2.8.xxx), they should do the following:
SSO Users
EyeOnWater users that log into EyeOnWater via a billing portal using Single Sign-On (SSO) should contact the utility or billing vendor responsible for managing the SSO user directory.
