Welcome to the new BEACON user interface (UI). As you can see, the new navigation bar on the left side of the screen performs the same function as the previous navigation tabs. Click a page name to access that page.

Click the arrows (^) next to System Sync, Engagement, Users and Utility Settings to expand or collapse those menus. When expanded, related pages are displayed. When collapsed, hover your cursor over an icon to display related pages.

Some pages have moved. Others have been added. And still others have been combined. For example:
• Data Diagnostics and Data Exchange Search can be directly accessed via the System Sync section.
• What’s New is available in the navigation bar as well as on the At a Glance page.
• Find data related to all your hardware assets on the new Assets page.

If portions of the vertical navigation bar are hidden, use the scroll bar to access them.

The navigation bar is open/expanded by default. To collapse it, with the lock icon in locked position, click the hamburger icon at the top of the page or click the |<— icon on the bottom left portion of the navigation bar. Click either icon again to toggle the bar open/expand it. When collapsed, only the navigation icons are displayed. Hover your cursor over them to view and select related sub-menus.

In this example, hovering the cursor over the System Sync icon reveals all of the related System Sync pages. Click the name of a page to select and display it in your browser.

Clicking the hamburger icon when the lock icon at the bottom of the navigation bar is in the unpinned / unlocked state lets you hide/show the navigation bar. When hidden the interface fills the entire width of your browser window.

Click the lock icon to pin pages to the vertical navigation bar. When pinned, pages you are viewing always start at the edge of the vertical navigation bar (below left), whether the bar is expanded or collapsed. When unpinned, the navigation bar overlays the page (below right).

As before, search results are displayed on the Monitor page, regardless of the page the search was performed on.
